I am currently a fighter by day, i train, work-out all during day hours. I would like to find a job in the d.c. metro area with night work hours (8pm and later), can anybody help me please? Doesent have to be high paying, just a simple warehouse job or some sort of thing like that. Full or part time doesent matter, will be thankful for any help.

Cant find a job at night (Washington, D.C.)?
I live in the Washington, DC metro area and you should not have much trouble finding a night job and I know that because I work at night. Try Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com, HotJobs.com, WashingtonPost.com and Craigslist.org are just some of the places where you could start. Also, Verizon is hiring right now for different shifts in Falls Church, VA (the metro runs out there) for a lot of different positions and they pay well. Also, don't forget about the old-fashioned newspaper. Sunday's Washington Post has always been a great place to look. Also, look in the newspaper in the employment section or check online for the locations of temporary and regular employment agencies -- as many as you can. There are many "temp to perm" positions where you start as a temp and, if all goes well, you can convert to a permanent position. You can find out information about evening/night positions through these agencies.

Also, if you are trying to make the job search a quick one, make sure you have a resume and a cover ready to make your search 20x easier. No matter what your work history has been, it is always best to have a resume. It also helps to make you appear professional and seriously ready to begin a job.

Feel free to e-mail if you have any questions.
