What's the best way to keep pests/neighbors out of your yard?

Grrrr, I have an annoying neighbor who has recently planted something on my side of her fence and its not even a see through fence!! Now she is dumping some sort of powder which I'm assuming is pesticide on those plants and its pissing me off b/c I dont want my dog anywhere near that crap!! I guess I'm just asking this question so I can vent.

Would it be illegal to kill plants in my yard and what would be a natural way to do that?

What's the best way to keep pests/neighbors out of your yard?
Well check the property line and anything in your side you can just tear out of the ground or cut with shears.
Reply:there is a right of way between everyone property. If it is on your property the plant is yours to destroy. But you may lose respect of your neighbor
Reply:The best way is to kill the plant (just pull it out), and then lay the smackdown on your neighbor.
Reply:frankly i find this a no-brainer?? if your neighbor is a good one then simply have a one on one talk to solve the problem. if that said neighbor is a jerk then tell them TO STAY THE HELL OFF OF YOUR PROPERTY OR YOU WILL CALL THE COPS!!!!! either way you'll get your point across!!
Reply:You might not want to ahem.. KILL the plant. But if you call the mayor of your town or something, or the governmental department for your city, then I'm sure you and your neighbor could work it out?

Have you asked her to remove it?
Reply:You could talk to her, and give her some pet friendly natural pesticide information.

You can of course kill plants in your yard (they are yours) Poor hot hot hot vinegar at the roots, kills the plant without salting the earth.
Reply:Put up a sign that says tresspasers will be shot survivors will be shot again.
