Can saving a/c. be debited against credit card bills issued before opening the saving a/c. ?

my saving a/c. has been debited forcily by against one credit card from the same bank which i had years back before opening my saving a/c. and i had some dispute with some of the charges on credit card due to which i stopped paying and bank never sorted out those charges..





pls advise what shall i do for getting my hard earned money back.

If u are in India and the money has been taken out of your account without your consent , i think it is illegal. Please write to the chairman of the Bank conecered with a copy to Governer, RBI, Sevreatary , Banking, Ministry of Finance.


But be sure that u have sufficient proof that the charges u disputed are actully wrong and u had intimated to Bank about that in writing.
Reply:oK I do understand u r concern now wat u have to do is call u r bank 1 more time tell them about it and ask them that u want to send them a written complaint abt it also ask about the dispute dept in the Bank and I m sure u r problem will be solved....but make sure it will take some time to complete the investigation.......

Why dont you make submissions to the Branch manager, Area Manager, Zonal manager, Divisional Manager, etc etc...write to everybody, all the managers who are concerned with the administration. They will have to respond to you..


But have you brought your protest about the charges levied against credit card , in writing to the higher authorities anytime ?


If yes, do you have the proof for that ? This may come as an important point in this context...


Start with this, and still if you feel that, you are justified, you can even approach the consumer protection court afterwards. But be sure that you do the home work properly before going to this final step.
