I am 8 months post-surgery and every month, just before my period, I feel sort of a "pulling" sensation in my uterus (It kinda feels like it did when the baby started kicking), a few days before it starts. I always know when it's coming because of that. I also used to get HORRIBLE cramps and now hardly get any at all. I never felt any of this before I had my baby. Do other people feel this, and does anyone know what causes it?
Does anyone else experience this after a C-Section?
I have had 3 c-sections and a hyster-ectomy and yes that is normal, the cramps were due to your uterus returning in size and the rest is just by your body healing itself, sometimes it would feel like their was another baby in there kicking, the sensations were like that for me also. you will be fine, good luck and congradulations!
Reply:i have had a c-section nearly 2 years ago and i get different sensations when i am due on, these are normal as i was concerned and spoke to my GP, it is your insides repairing,
Reply:It's normal. I have had two c-sections and felt different sensations for years afterwards including spots of numbness around my incision. I believe the sensations are caused by the nerves repairing themselves following the surgery.
