What is the treatment of strep c during pregnancy?

last year i lost my daughter at 37 weeks from strep c I was not aware I had it. I recently found out i am pregnant again and I have seen my normal gp and asked him this question but he wasn't sure and told me to ask when i go to the antenatal clinic but that won't be for a few weeks and I want to clear my mind and get some sort of idea what will happen during this pregnancy and birth with strep c so if you have any ideas please let me know!!

What is the treatment of strep c during pregnancy?
I had beta strep (strep c) while pregnant w/ my second daughter....They will normally induce your labor and start you with antibiotics hours before they induce to insure that your baby does not get it. My daughter is now 3 years and none of that affected her, so don't worry yourself about it. This is one of the happiest times of your life!!!!!Congratulations!
Reply:usually they run an IV of antibiotics during delivery if you test possitive,
Reply:Treatment is antibiotics, pregnant or not. Your GP should know that.
