What is the value of c in the formula c=division sign2a2+b2 , if a=4 and b=5?

on that question c=looks like a division sign sort of the in that sign there is a 2athen a small 2 on top of the a then a + sign bsmall 2 on top of it then it says a=4 and b=5

What is the value of c in the formula c=division sign2a2+b2 , if a=4 and b=5?
translated: c = square root of (a^2 + b^2)

If a = 4 then a^2 = 4^2 = 4*4 = 16

b = 5, then b^2 = 5^2 = 25

c = square root of (16 + 25)

c = sqrt of 41
