Does anyone have water in their air conditioner?

Ok, I have a pretty standard walmart esqe airconditioner that goes into a room window. Back in November I took it out and carried it downstairs. While I did that I heard some sort of liquid in the machine and it got all over my shorts. The liquid ended up staining the shorts something terrible.

Anyway, now that it's nice again I plan to put the A.C in, so the question is...what is this liquid? Is it normal/expected? Is the fact that it was leaking ok? Do i need to empty out/replace the liquid. Is my A.C cool to be reinstalled back in my window for this approaching summer?

It is just condensation from the coils. Make sure that the drain is clear on the back of AC unit. It should be on the lower part of the metal frame. Also make sure that the AC unit is tilted to allow the water to drain out of the AC unit.
Reply:No worries. Just remember what it did to ya next time you go to remove it, and pull the water out with a wet/dry vac first.
Reply:Well you are supposed to tilt the unit so that the water runs off. This is normal, but the air conditioner will stop running if to much water builds up.
