Is military science a great way to remove disobedience from public schools?

For those of you who do not know what a Military Science class is it is a class set up sort of like bootcamp. You have drill instructors and do recreational activities that deal with teamwork, exercise and respect towards higher authorities.

Military Science at my university is a liberal study offered to civilians, and an elective course all military personel must take. It's pretty much basic training for reserves in college.

R.O.T.C. is a great example of Military Science, except R.O.T.C. is obviously more advanced.

HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!! That's an AWESOME idea!!!! Perhaps you should send that idea to the government. That aught to rid us of some spoiled and self-fish, self-centered brats.
Reply:No, because it would inevitably get watered down and watered down until it's purpose was completely lost. The fact is, being in ROTC in college is not like being an enlisted man. When you're enlisted, they have you, where as an ROTC program has to commission a certain number of officers. This leads to babying in certain ways, so that people don't want to quit the program.

It would only be 10 times worse in a high school program.
Reply:Most school districts could not afford it. And, most parents would not allow it. So, good or not, it is moot.
