If i start doing pilates how long till i get a toned stomach?

Im 4'11'', 108 pounds, and im a 16yearold girl. im about to start doing pilates. I want to get a flat belly and be toned so i have the section in the torso that sort of curves inward like a "c"- will pilates give me that and how long will it take?if i do 1 hour how long? what about 2 hours? please help!!

You MUST exercise if you want to lose weight and keep it off, so do something every day, even if it’s just a 15-minute walk around the neighborhood. Don’t say you don’t have time for exercise; you have to MAKE time. Yes, it takes time and effort, but you’re worth it, right?


Walk as much as you want, but don’t do cardio for more than 40 minutes at a time. If you do, you risk burning muscle instead of fat.


If you do strength training, use light weights and do lots of repetitions. That’ll really help you “tone up.”


your result will be within 6 week.
Reply:in any exercise program, you don't really start to see results for 6 weeks.

Reply:What I do know is that more is not necessarily better...any therapist will tell you that. I am on a plan that uses stretching bands to exercise the points you want to tone...only 2 minutes, twice a week.....the muscles have to be toned...they don't have to be murdered in the process!





Many gymnasts try to make you think more pain is more results, but that is not necessarily true....you just need to be consistent and keep excerising the areas that need to tighten up. The program I am on shows you how to use the stretch bands to do that...and totally re-tone your body. (it is called the "six week body makeover".
